pale pink Vans…peds exposing ankles…boots left behind…maybe on purpose…painted on jeans…strategically ripped in spots…lightweight windbreaker jacket…replaces fluffy down coat…hope she layers up to skate tonight…2-hour delay for school…healthy amount of snow on ground…pushing limits…free spirit…what season is this anyways?…winter or spring?
Love the description of your youngest and the word denial is perfect along with your last two lines. I don’t think kids pay attention to the seasons or at least it is not a part of the kid code.

Can’t wait to read about your other two angels. This one sounds like she’s got the world in her pocket.

What a fun series this looks to be! I can totally understand your youngest’s denial – I mean come on! Spring needs to get here already!!!!

I happened upon the third part in your series and I had to look back to read the others. It’s so fun to read these details that convey the essence of your kids.

Thanks for taking the time to read all 3 installments! It was a fun way to capture bits about each “angel.” Funny how ideas form – the first one came to me as I noticed our youngest prepping to go to school after a decent snowfall. Then, I was cleaning up after our son…and the series was born! I liked having a direction for the next couple of days. We’ll see if the “series” format makes a comeback before the challenge ends! Appreciate the feedback!
